Rakhi 2026: The One Thing Worth Planning Ahead
Share
Rakshabandhan has a way of sneaking up on you.
One day it is months away and you have all the time in the world. Then suddenly it is the second week of August and you are searching for something special, something that feels real, something that will actually last beyond the day itself.
We know this feeling well. And every year, the messages that break our hearts a little are the ones that arrive in the last week of August, asking if we can still make a piece in time.
We wish we could always say yes.
This post is our way of making sure you never have to send that message.
Raksha Bandhan 2026 falls on Friday, 28 August.
And if you are thinking of gifting something from Niashine, here is everything you need to know.
Every Niashine Piece is Made Just for You
Nothing at Niashine sits waiting on a shelf.
Every bracelet, neckchain, collar pin and nazariya is made from scratch after you place your order. Your child's name is handset, the charm you chose is carefully attached, the cord colour you picked is threaded through. The whole piece is finished, quality checked and packed before it leaves our Mumbai studio.
That process takes 15 business days. Not because we are slow, but because this is what handcrafted actually means. It is also exactly what makes it a gift worth giving rather than something that gets forgotten by the following week.
When to Order
If you are ordering from anywhere in India outside Mumbai, placing your order by 6 August gives you complete peace of mind. The absolute last date is 10 August, but closer to that date, courier timelines during the festive season can be unpredictable, especially to smaller cities and towns.
If you are based in Mumbai, you have a little more breathing room. Orders placed up to 15 August can reach you before Rakshabandhan.
Not sure whether your area falls within our Mumbai delivery window? Just WhatsApp us and we will let you know right away.
What to Give
For your little sister or niece, the Angel Wings Neckchain with her name is one of the most loved pieces we make for Rakhi. It is the kind of gift that is worn during the ceremony and somehow never comes off after. Available from baby size right up to older children.

For your little brother or nephew, a personalised name bracelet with a charm that is entirely him, a superhero, a football, an aeroplane, tied on a cord in his favourite colour. It works as the Rakhi itself and as something he genuinely wants to wear every day.

For the boy who loves to dress up, a personalised collar pin with his name or initial worn on his kurta during the ceremony is the kind of detail that makes every Rakhi photograph unforgettable.

For the baby in the family, a 925 silver evil eye nazariya is the most meaningful first Rakhi gift you can give. Protective, beautiful, and made to fit the tiniest wrists.

A Few Things That Help Us Help You
When you order, please take a moment to double check the spelling of the name or initial you want on the piece. Every piece is made exactly as you specify it, and we want it to be perfect.
If you are unsure about sizing for a young child, refer to our size guide or WhatsApp us before ordering. We are happy to guide you to the right length for their age.
How to Order
Browse the Rakhi collection or the full silver jewellery range at niashine.com. Add your piece, enter the personalisation details, and you are done.
For anything else, sizing questions (our size guide is a good starting point), customisation ideas, or just not knowing where to start, WhatsApp us at +91 98330 13634. We will help you find exactly the right piece for exactly the right person.
Rakshabandhan comes once a year. The piece you give this August could be worn for years after it. It is worth a little planning ahead.
